KUCHING: Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) held its pre-graduation dinner on Friday at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).
The dinner, themed ‘Graduates Key to University’s Excellence’, was organised by the student affairs department of UiTM Sarawak campus.
Featuring performances by the staff and students of UiTM Sarawak, the dinner also saw a brief motivational presentation by UiTM Sarawak Rector Professor Datuk Dr Jamil Hamali.
The dinner was held to celebrate and recognise the best students from each faculty and the overall best students of the university.
Out of the 890 students scheduled to receive their diplomas and bachelor’s degrees this semester, a total of 34 awards were presented that night.
The dinner also saw the presentation of the Best Diploma Award, Best Undergraduate Student Award and Best Student in Sports Award.
