KUCHING: Two grass cutters, who decided to call it a day after a heavy downpour, were injured when their car collided with a lorry on their way home to Kampung Giam, Padawan at about 4 pm yesterday.
The two – driver and passenger- were both injured while the car was badly damaged in front. It was believed that the lorry had veered off course into their lane from the opposite direction at Batu Kitang
The lorry driver escaped unhurt.
Firemen were at the scene to help the injured before sending them to the Sarawak General Hospital.
The collision caused a massive traffic jam as people were returning home from work.
