KUCHING: The OPPO Air Glass 3 was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona, United States yesterday (Feb 28). This prototype for assisted reality glasses weighs only 50 grams, offering users a seamless artificial intelligence (AI) experience by seamlessly connecting to OPPO’s AndesGPT model through smartphones.
The glasses provide an immersive experience with enhanced audio quality and privacy thanks to touch interaction, reverse sound field technology, and an open acoustic design.
OPPO also announced the establishment of the OPPO AI Center and released the OPPO AI Smartphone White Paper, signalling a significant shift towards AI smartphones. The forthcoming OPPO Reno11 Series and OPPO Find N3 will introduce generative AI features, promising enhanced user experiences.
OPPO’s collaborations with Qualcomm Technologies, AlpsenTek, Google, and Microsoft at MWC demonstrate its commitment to exploring advanced technological realms.
These partnerships enable the introduction of the AI motion algorithm for improved photography and videography, as well as a more intelligent user experience.
OPPO solidified strategic alliances including a patent cross-licensing agreement with Nokia and a three-year partnership with the Telefónica group, reinforcing its global presence and dedication to the European market.
