KUCHING: The Health Ministry’s Food Safety and Quality Division (FSQ) have prepared guidelines on safe food deliveries during the movement control order (MCO) period.
“There has been an increase in online food orders everywhere during the MCO,” it said in a post on its Facebook page yesterday.
Firstly, food delivery personnel should check that the food packaging is not open or leaking.
Another tip was to ensure that the time at which the food was prepared is stated on the packaging.
“Make sure that the thermal bag is clean and its lid is closed well,” it said.
The ministry also advised food delivery personnel not to place personal items together with the food.
“For riders delivering these food orders please follow these key tips to ensure that food delivered is clean and safe.”
