SRI AMAN: A total of seven bodies here received minor rural project (MRP) grants totalling RM110,000 from Assistant Minister of Community Wellbeing Datuk Francis Harden Hollis yesterday.

Sri Aman Division Football Association received RM60,000, state-level Teacher’s Day celebration management committee (RM20,000), SK Nanga Klassen Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), and SJK(C) Chung Hua Pantu PTA (RM5,000).

In addition, RM5,000 each was given to SJK(C) Chung Hua Bangkong PTA, Sarawak Bomba Sports and Welfare Association and Sri Aman Fire Station Welfare and Sports Fund respectively.

Harden presents a grant to Sri Aman Division Football Association.

Harden, who is also Simanggang assemblyman, hoped that the allocation could be fully utilised by the organisations and associations.

He added that the handover of the grants proved that he was keeping his promises to the bodies seeking financial assistance.
