SIMANGGANG: Assistant Minister for Community Wellbeing Datuk Francis Harden Hollis donated five cows for the korban rituals at four mosques and surau here in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidiladha.
The cows worth a total of RM45,000 were donated to Darul Asyakirin Mosque, Kampung Muhibbah and Surau An Nur RPR Phase I, Surau Darul Hasanah Taman Harmoni and Al Amin Mosque, Sri Jaya.
Harden who is also Simanggang assemblyman visited the mosques and wished “Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha” to those who were present.
Meanwhile, the number of persons permitted to perform the korban was limited to 20 – in response to the government’s call to comply with the recovery movement control order (RMCO) standard operating procedures (SOPs) which are being enforced.
Upon entering the courtyard of the surau and mosque, visitors were required to have their body temperature scanned and recorded.
