MIRI: A total of 256 runners collectively covered an incredible 32,317.20 kilometres over the past three months in the Sarawak Oil Palms (SOP) 56km Virtual Run.
In a press release the company said the virtual event brought together participants from various SOP operation regions, united by their passion for running and their commitment to pushing their limits.
“Leading the pack with an extraordinary performance, Harffidi Hashim secured the top spot, accumulating a remarkable total of 1,600.90 kilometres.
“Harffidi’s dedication and endurance have not only set a new benchmark for the SOP 56km Virtual Run but have also solidified his status as a champion, following his previous victory in the SOP 55km Virtual Run,” it said.
Shafiq Afizan Saifulbahari took second spot with an impressive 1,476.40 kilometres.
In third place was Carniger Henry Bujang who covered 1,166.60 kilometres.
“We are immensely proud of all the participants who took part in the virtual run.
“The collective distance covered is a testament to the dedication and hard work of each runner. Events like these bring our community together, encouraging a healthy lifestyle and a sense of accomplishment,” SOP added.
