By MAYA GREEN
Those lines in the mirror?
Wear them as a batch of honour
Your stripes of wisdom, of the ages
Acquired, and born of the years
Have the humility, dare I say
To accept and say:
“You were right and I was wrong!”
And, life will find a way for you, strong
But some will always be blinded, O no
Blinded by their own ego
Well, life is such, O sigh
Only some — will have the insight
Be like the Pink Beach, yes try
Out of the many beaches, neath the sky
Be one that is not so common, and beside
Having the humility — in a sea of pride
