KUCHING: The Kuching City FC has bolstered its attacking ranks with the addition of former national team forward Ahmad Hazwan Bakri.
Ahmad, who has previously represented Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) and Selangor, is returning to competitive action after a 10-month absence due to an ACL injury.
Once hailed as the next big star following his impressive performances for Selangor, where he scored twice in the 2015 Malaysia League Cup final against Kedah, Ahmad is now eager to revitalise his career with Kuching City FC.
At 33, Ahmad aims to rediscover his past glory and make a huge impact for his new team.
The club is currently in fourth place in the Malaysian Super League and is on a five-match unbeaten streak.
