DALAT: Sarawak Housing Development Corporation (HDC) chairman Abdul Yakub Arbi inspected the Spektra Permata Housing Project (RSP) under the Village Expansion Scheme (SPK) here on Thursday.

The inspection visit also included checks on 72 units of affordable housing in Tian and Igan.

Abdul Yakub, who is also the Balingian assemblyman, said that the primary goal of the visit was to assess the ongoing work at these sites.

Meanwhile HDC’s chief executive officer (CEO), Fathi Hambali, provided a positive update on the projects.

“All three projects are progressing well,” he said.

“They’re on track to finish by their projected dates. The Dalat project, which began just two months ago, is expected to conclude by the end of next year. As for the Tian and Igan projects, we aim to wrap them up by the middle of next year.”

He expressed satisfaction with the work quality delivered by the contractors.
