KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar received two audit reports from Auditor General Datuk Seri Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi today (Nov 12).
The reports, presented at Astana Negeri, Petra Jaya, include the Sarawak Government’s Financial Statement Report and the Sarawak Islamic Religious Council’s Financial Statement Report.
During the courtesy call, Wan Suraya discussed amendments to the Audit Act 1957 and other initiatives with Wan Junaidi.
She also mentioned the department’s ongoing audits of government-linked companies and state-level financial management issues.
Wan Suraya was accompanied by Sarawak State Audit Director Rokiah Sahat, Financial Audit Director Norliza Md Nuruddin, Report Coordination Division Director Saiduk Anuar Zakaria, Legal Adviser Nurhafiza Marsidi, and Chief Assistant Director Sharul Nizam Sabaree.
