KUCHING: The State Health Department (JKNS) has declared two new clusters, namely the Jalan Bangunan Kerajaan Cluster in Beluru and the Sungai Kawi Cluster in Meradong.
With this, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said there were 42 active clusters in the state as of today.
“Of this total, 13 clusters reported an increase in cases while the other 29 did not,” SDMC said in a statement today.
On another matter, the committee said the districts of Dalat and Daro had changed status from green to yellow after the two areas yesterday respectively recorded one and four local infection cases.
“This reduces the total number of green-status districts to five, while the number of yellow-status districts has increased to 19.”
SDMC said 12 districts remained red and four remained orange.
