In light of the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration, the Health Ministry urges individuals to be mindful of their calorie consumption, particularly during visits to open houses.

It is common for guests to indulge in a wide array of delectable dishes, some of which can be high in calories and contribute to the risk of conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

The ministry emphasises the importance of maintaining a healthy weight and overall well-being by monitoring calorie intake during these festivities.

“Don’t forget to practise balanced and moderate eating, following the concept of Malaysia’s healthy plate,” said the ministry.
