MARUDI: Flood water inundated the corridor of a longhouse here following heavy rain over the past two days.
Miri Fire and Rescue department chief Supt Law Poh Kiong said while evacuation was not an immediate concern, his department was monitoring the situation at Rumah Jimbau Gudang.
He said four firemen from Marudi fire station led by PBK II Abdul Rahman Roslie had been deployed to the scene.
He said the water level in some lower grounds was about two feet deep but may subside if the weather improved.
