SARATOK: A 12-tonne lorry caught fire at Jalan Saratok Roban here in the wee hours of the morning today.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre said 10 per cent of the vehicle was damaged by the flames.
Firefighters from Saratok fire station were despatched to the scene after they were alerted to the incident.
The fire destroyed the back tyres of the lorry and the firefighters extinguished the flames in no time in the around 1 am incident. No casualties were reported.
The cause of the fire and losses incurred are still under investigation.
