KUCHING: Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) have asked to help create conducive learning environment in schools.

In making the call, Pantai Damai assemblyman, Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, pointed out that a conducive environment would have a positive influence on students.

He spoke at the handing over of donations to the PTAs in Pantai Damai state constituency at the Pantai Damai Service Centre here on Tuesday (Sept 29).

Thirteen primary schools received RM5,000 each while five secondary schools received RM10,000 each.

Dr Abdul Rahman hoped the PTAs would use the donations to organise more activities for students in the schools.
