KUCHING: Sarawakian-born actor Henry Ewan Golding has been ranked as the ninth most handsome celebrity man in the world.
The 35-year-old of Iban ancestry, born in Betong, was among the 10 male celebrities named on the list.
According to The Daily Mail, the list was compiled by facial cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva by using the latest computerised mapping techniques.
The results were based on the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi (Golden Ratio), an ancient Greek equation devised to measure facial perfection.
“These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery,” he said.
Henry, who stars in the box office hit “Crazy Rich Asians”, was found to be 87.98 percent accurate to the Golden Ratio.
“The Malaysian-British actor and presenter scored highly for his chin shape and eye spacing but was marked down by the shapes of his nose and face,” said Dr Julian, who was quoted as saying in The Daily Mail.
Here’s what Henry scored for his face:
- Forehead – 85 per cent
- Eye position – 89 per cent
- Nose width/length – 80.2 per cent
- Lips – 90 per cent
- Face shape – 85 per cent
- Nose base/lip width – 86.7 per cent
- Chin – 94.2 per cent
Meanwhile, “Bridgerton” star Rege-Jean Page, 34, came in first, where he scored 93.65 per cent, followed by “Men In Black” star Chris Hemsworth, 39, with a score of 93.53 per cent, and “Black Panther” star Michael B. Jordan, 35, who scored 93.46 per cent.
