KUCHING: Queen of Malaysia, Raja Zarith Sofiah has arrived in Kuching city today (June 28) for a three-day official visit.
Upon Her Majesty’s arrival at the Kuching International Airport (KIA) around 11:20 am, she was greeted by the wife of Sarawak Governor, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, and Premier‘s wife Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang.
During Her Majesty’s inaugural visit to Sarawak, Raja Zarith Sofiah is scheduled to attend the opening ceremony of the 59th Annual General Meeting of the Girl Guides Association of Malaysia tomorrow, followed by a State Banquet in the evening.
Also welcoming the Queen on her arrival was the Minister of Women, Childhood, and Community Wellbeing Development of Sarawak, Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah.
