KUCHING: In line with its commitment to promoting the importance of nutrition, Herbalife, a leading global nutrition company, yesterday announced the launch of a new Pick-Up Centre (PUC) in Kuching. This marks yet another triumphant expansion of the leading nutrition company in East Malaysia.
“After 12 years of presence in Malaysia, Herbalife’s continued growth as a leading nutrition company as well as the increasing demands of our Independent Distributors has made it necessary to expand further in East Malaysia as we want to make things more accessible to our distributors who are based in Kuching,” said Sridhar Rajagopalan, Senior Director / Sub-Regional General Manager, Herbalife Malaysia & Singapore.
“In our continuous pursuit to find ways and means to make it easier for our members to transact and conduct business, infrastructure expansion is one of our key strategic imperatives. Coupled with the growing demands of independent members, we have decided to launch our first Pick Up-Centre in Sarawak. This facility will offer a host of services to our members from product order placement to over-the-counter pick up among other things. With a presence here in Kuching, home delivery for products are now faster and easier, ensuring a better customer experience for our East Malaysian consumers,” he added.
“We are incredibly excited about the launch of the Pick-Up Centre in Kuching after 12 years of presence in Malaysia as it cements our position as a company that is committed to raise and increase awareness about the importance of balanced nutrition and how nutrition plays a pivotal role in achieving and maintaining a healthy active lifestyle,” continued Sridhar.
Herbalife is also bringing its popular range of inner nutrition products, such as Formula 1 Nutritious Mixed Soy Protein Drink, Herbal Aloe Concentrate, Tea Mix, Blended Soy and Whey Protein Powder and fan favorites Line Minimizing Serum and Herbal Aloe Everyday Soothing Gel from its range of outer nutrition product to this Pick-Up Centre. The range of inner nutrition products provides nutrition solution to varied health conditions; while the outer nutrition range ensures that we look and feel healthy.
Echoing Sridhar’s thoughts were Steven Chin, General Manager / Director of Herbalife Malaysia who stated, “We believe that when you consume the right nutrition in the right quantities, it will enable you to exercise better and enjoy a richer, healthier life. In addition to the Pick-Up Centre in Kuching, Herbalife currently operates two sales centers and three Pick Up Centres nationwide including one in Kota Kinabalu, East Malaysia.
