KUCHING: Sarawak Lubricants Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Senari Synergy Sdn Bhd and Hyrax Oil Sdn Bhd, made its debut today (Nov 11), marking a significant step forward for Sarawak’s industrial and energy sectors.
The venture aims to provide high-quality lubricant products tailored to the specific needs of local and regional industries, solidifying Sarawak’s position as a leading hub for reliable energy solutions.
“Sarawak Lubricants combines Senari Synergy’s regional expertise with Hyrax Oil’s global leadership in lubricant innovation,” said Senari Synergy Sdn Bhd chairman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Abdul Aziz Husain during the launch ceremony at Riverside Majestic Hotel.
“This synergy will enable us to provide advanced, tailored solutions to Sarawak’s growing industrial base.”
Abdul Aziz added that a strong emphasis on research and development is crucial in today’s rapidly evolving market.
“We are dedicated to staying ahead of the curve through innovation and problem-solving,” he said.
Meanwhile, Managing Director of Senari Synergy Datuk Jefri Ahmad Tambi highlighted the joint venture’s commitment to rigorous research and development.
“Our mission is to deliver innovative, eco-friendly, and high-quality lubricant solutions that meet the evolving needs of our industries while promoting sustainability and efficiency,” he said.

Group Executive Chairman of Hyrax Oil Sdn Bhd Datuk Hazimah Zainuddin expressed confidence in the joint venture’s ability to build a strong reputation based on quality and reliability.
The launch event also saw the appointment of major distributors for Sarawak Lubricants.
