LUBOK ANTU: A motorcyclist died when the Honda Wave he was riding crashed into a big motorkebike near KM18, Jalan Lubok Antu-Sri Aman on Saturday afternoon.
The victim had been identified as Dana anak Alal, 47, from Rumah Lepang Gerang, Kampung Sayat, near here.
He was coming from Jalan Tengku when he was hit by the big motorbike near the junction. The big motorbike, a Harley Davidson, was coming in the direction of Lubok Antu heading towards Sri Aman.
The impact caused the victim to be flung off his motorbike. He died on the spot.
Meanwhile, the rider of the Harley Davidson, Robin Patrick Lamit, 42, was rushed to the Merindun Health Clinic with serious injury.
The weather was fine when the tragic accident occurred at about 6pm.
