KUCHING: Persatuan Kebajikan Harapan Kuching (Hope Place Kuching) yesterday delivered three stand fans, extension wires, pail, mops, slippers, boots, ladders and food rations as part of efforts to assist the Covid-19 frontliners at the Sentosa Hospital at Kota Sentosa near here.

Earlier, volunteers from the non-profit organisation led by its founder Kelvin Wan also assisted in transporting stand fans, extension wires, bleach, hand wash and hand towels to the 1Malaysia Clinic at Kota Padawan.

On hand to receive the donations at Sentosa Hospital was its director Dr Rosliwati Md Yusoff while at Kota Padawan 1Malaysia Clinic was Dr Lily Chieng.

Later during lunch time, they assisted to deliver packed lunches, donated by a generous chicken rice seller, to the frontliners.

According to Wan, the organisation is also assisting the local Federation of Chinese Associations to deliver rations to the frontliners on duty at the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH).

He thanked all the generous sponsors for their donations to the frontliners on duty in efforts to battle the Covid-19 pandemic.

He also appealed to more donors to assist in making available rations and all other necessities that would contribute towards the needs of the frontliners.
