KUCHING: Hope Place came to Kota Sentosa Hospital’s aid by providing food and other necessities for the patients and staff placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) recently.

Hope Place founder Kelvin Wan said that the hospital requested for adult diapers for approximately 150 patients, as well as refreshments for everyone involved at the facility.

“I am pleased to disclose that our team was quick to respond on the same day when the request was put forward,” said Wan in a statement yesterday (July 19).

He added that Hope Place provided the hospital with seven boxes of adult diapers, as well as food items such as biscuits, instant noodles, 3-in-1 coffee mix, Milo, and necessary Covid-19 supplies such as face masks and hand sanitisers.

On top of that, they also contributed drinking water to the hospital, which had been without water for a few days due to a broken water pipe.
