KUCHING: Hope Place came to the aid of Aminudin Baki Institute quarantine centre by providing several types of cleaning equipment.

Hope Place founder Kelvin Wan said that the quarantine centre has requested for cleaning equipment, explaining that the centre which presently houses over 200 positive patients lacked essential cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies.

In their request, they also mentioned that the equipment was needed to maintain the centre’s hygiene and cleanliness, apart from curbing the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

“We are grateful that upon their request, Sun Yew Trading Sdn Bhd has agreed to sponsor all of the cleaning equipment for the centre.

“We would like to thank Sun Yew Trading for their generosity and support to the Kuching community on behalf of everyone at the quarantine centre,” he said in a statement on Monday (July 26).

Wan said that Sun Yew Trading has donated brooms, mops, pails, toilet brush, toilet plunger, garbage plastic bags, and wastepaper baskets.
