KUCHING: Food Aid Foundation (FAF) contributed RM10,000 to assist Hope Place Kuching in lending a helping hand to those who need it.

According to Hope Place founder Kelvin Wan, Hope Place has started distributing the contributions to needy families.

“The contribution from FAF is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative with MetLife Foundation, and FAF decided to contribute to Hope Place Kuching, who is currently taking care of about 200 underprivileged families.

“Hope Place would like to give their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to FAF and MetLife Foundation for their generous contribution and support,” he said in a press statement on Sunday.

Members of the public interested in making a donation to Hope Place can do so via fund transfer to Persatuan Kebajikan Harapan Kuching (Maybank account number 5112-8900-1160).
