MUKAH: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Mukah branch donated face mask and suction machines worth RM14,300 to Mukah Hospital on Wednesday (Aug 11).
Of the total amount, RM12,500 was the cost of 10 New Askir 30 suction machine, and RM1,800 for 3,000 face masks.
“We do not ask for any special treatment from any parties. We just donate for the good of Mukah Hospital,” SUPP Mukah branch chairman Yeo Tiong Ing said in a short letter addressed to Mukah Hospital director Dr Yik Kah Sieng.
Yeo presented the donation to Dr Yik in a simple ceremony at Mukah Hospital.
The face masks were donated by Yeo while 10 individuals contributed one suction machine each.
The donors were Wong Kiing Dee, Joseph Yiu Tuong Huat, Song Mee Shan, Kuek Tiam Soon, Kong Sien Lew, Yeo Fong Chee, Yeo Fong Ling, Yeo Fong Siang, Yeo Fong Ching and Wong Bak Sing.
