MIRI: A 29-year-old man was apprehended on Saturday afternoon for suspected involvement in several house break-ins here.
The man was apprehended in a house at Piasau here at 1pm following a public tip-off. During yesterday’s arrest the police also seized and discovered several stolen items from the house namely a grass cutter, audio system, a fire extinguisher, several bags and a Honda CR-V vehicle.
When police arrived at the house to arrest the suspect he behaved aggressively. It was believed that the suspect was high on drug. The suspect is being detained at the Miri Central Police Station (CPS) for further questioning.
