KUCHING: After receiving a distress call at 1.25am yesterday regarding a house on fire at Lorong 2, Taman Green Acres, Jalan Batu Kawa here, the Batu Lintang BOMBA dispatched 35 personnel in six vehicles led by TPgB Di-Hata Bin Gobel to the scene. PPgB Chong Bui Chyan was also present.
Upon arrival, the firefighters discovered that a double storey terrace house was on fire.
The fire has started from two vehicles (Toyota FJ Cruiser and Toyota Harrier) which were completely destroyed inside a garage of the house with no occupants as they are overseas.
The firefighters immediately douse the fire to prevent it from spreading to other houses in the vicinity.
No one was injured in the fire.
Police and SESCo personnel were also involved in the operation.
The operation ended after the fire was completely put out at 3.48am.
