KUCHING: A team of 11 firefighters managed to put out a fire that partially destroyed an unoccupied house at Kampung Samariang Pinggir here at 6.12pm on Friday.
A spokesperson from the state Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firefighters from the Petra Jaya fire station rushed to the scene following a report received.
When the firefighters arrived, they found a single-storey house was on fire. It took them less than 30 minutes to put out the fire. The house was partially damaged by the fire.
No injuries or casualties were reported during the incident and operation ended at 6.35pm.
