KUCHING: Co-Opbank Pertama (CBP) is introducing a housing loan equity programme for B40 group to own house.
Its chief executive officer Mohd Nor Abd Razak said the scheme was aimed as a platform to provide home ownership to the targeted group.
“We will be collaborating with a well-established organisation and this programme will be introduced in October this year. With the collaboration, this would enable us to review the best housing loan methods in order to encourage the B40 group to own a house.
“The housing scheme for the B40 group will be launched in the first quarter of next year in the hope that it will increase home ownership among them,” he said when speaking to reporters at the press conference held at one of the leading hotels, here today.
He also stated that the co-operative bank is campaigning its new personal financing product “Kita Jaga Kita”.
“The campaign aims to provide opportunity to our customers to make their financial commitments with CBP with fixed interest rates as low as at 3.75 percent,” he added.
The #KitaJagaKita campaign period will end by Dec 31 this year. During the campaign period, any approved private financing loan is eligible to participate in Bonanza lucky draw to win an apartment located in Penang.
