KUCHING: Hock Seng Lee (HSL) is extending its Great Highfields Property Festival by another week. This is in response to the government’s call in Budget 2019 to promote home ownership, according to a HSL press statement. This is also despite brisk sales seen last weekend, where about a dozen bookings were received for just 32 terrace houses, the statement said.
All deals offered from the launch are being extended. These include intermediate terraces from RM468,888, home buyers’ RM2,000 electrical goods vouchers, special offers from Alvin Interior Deco, and free Emart vouchers.
The developer is keeping its Highfields 3 sample unit open daily, from 10am to 5pm, while sales staff can also be met at Highfields 2’s fully furnished showhouse.
“Meet our consultants, not only for great deals, but on what’s new in Budget 2019 for home buyers. For instance, in Budget 2019, there is the stamp duty exemption for houses priced up to RM500,000 on the first RM300,000,” senior property development manager Tay Chiok Kee said.
There is also the extension of the public sector housing financial period under the Public Sector Housing Financial Board, whereby the first financing period will increase from 30 to 35 years, and second financing period from 25 to 30 years.
At the same time, HSL is a major participant of Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association’s (Sheda) roadshow taking place at Aeon Mall now. HSL’s booth is outside Aeon’s supermarket entrance.
“For the roadshow, we are promoting all our properties including the high-end La Promenade, Samariang Aman 2, Vista Industrial Park and Eden Commercial Centre. We know Sarawakians still prefer landed properties, which is why HSL continues to deliver landed products when most developers are selling apartments,” Tay said.
He attributed the company’s landed portfolio to long-term planning. “As a result, we can offer home buyers a backyard, a car porch, extra wide frontages and even value-for-money landed gated and guarded houses with communal gyms and swimming pools.”
Highfields 2 and 3 are HSL’s value propositions, alongside the popular and well-established Samariang Aman 2, which is a Sheda award winner. Vista Industrial Park is one of Sarawak’s largest privately built small and medium industrial estate, offering buyers a business premises near seaports, the city centre and Samajaya High Tech Park.
La Promenade is HSL’s flagship property project at Kuching-Samarahan Expressway. The development will also house its new headquarters, which will be a green building index certified tower.
Eden Commercial Centre is a strategically located shophouse development along the Pan Borneo Highway, next to JPJ’s headquarters. For more information, call Trish (019-8168866), Angie (019-8887979) or visit hsl.com.my, facebook.com/hslcn or instagram.com/hslcn.
