KUCHING: In a commendable act of generosity, Sarikei MP Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii has provided much-needed aid to two elderly patients by donating a patient bed and a wheelchair.
The benevolent gesture saw 91-year-old Chan Chiok Lee from Meruton receiving a patient bed, significantly enhancing his living conditions.
Meanwhile, 74-year-old Wong Kiing Ping from Jalan Rejang was the recipient of a wheelchair, improving his mobility and quality of life.
Huang, who is also the Repok assemblyman, organised the delivery of these essential items through his service centre team. The team made the deliveries directly to the beneficiaries’ homes on Friday, acting swiftly upon the requests from the patients.
The recipients’ families have expressed profound gratitude towards Huang for his timely and compassionate assistance.
