SARIKEI: Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii contributed food assistance to residents of Rumah Panjang Naning undergoing the enhanced movement control order (EMCO).
The Repok assemblyman said the food assistance in the form of food supply is to ease their burden of the people during the EMCO.
“Today the 30 doors longhouse received their food assistance which consist of rice, sugar, cooking oil, instant noodles, chicken eggs, Milo, salt and wheat flour,” he said in a statement.
Rumah Panjang Naning has been put under EMCO for 14 days from April 16 to April 30.
Recently, the state Disaster Management Committee had announced in its Covid-19 daily update that EMCO is enforced at Rumah Panjang Naning, Rumah Panjang Tang which are both in Sarikei.
The EMCO also includes Rumah Panjang Juni in Pakan which start on April 17 to April 30.
