SIBU: Over 400 participants, including entrepreneurs, small vendors, hawkers, and members of the public, packed the Sibu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI) office yesterday for a briefing on e-invoicing.

Organised by the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) Brooke Drive, the event highlighted the growing interest in digital business practices among local business community.

“We aimed to educate participants from various levels of society on how e-invoicing can improve business efficiency in today’s digital era,” said JKKK Brooke Drive chairperson Kapitan Ling Swee Hing.

The briefing was conducted by Ling Siang Ping, Operation Director of the Sibu Inland Revenue Board (IRB).

Community leaders from Pelawan constituency, including committee advisor Kapitan So Teck Kee, Kapitans Thomas Tiang Nie Ping, Low Muong Ing, and Yong Ing Kai, were also present at the event.
