SADONG JAYA: Residents here must focus on human capital development as state leaders strive to implement basic infrastructure development.
MP Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said this is important if the people want to be more advanced economically and socially, once complete infrastructure has been developed.
“We also need to continue to enrich and empower ourselves with new knowledge, skills and opportunities aggressively,” she said when allocating RM50,000 to upgrade the Sadong Jaya hall here today.
“This is important because we want to create a resilient and sustainable productive community, which is able to generate income so that they can face any future challenges that may affect their income.
“That is also why we need to urge young people to be the catalyst in making changes or transformation to the community in Batang Sadong,” she added.
Also at the event was local assemblyman Aidel Lariwoo.
