KOTA SAMARAHAN: The special edition of the Innovative Sciences and Technologies for Research and Education (InnoSTRE) hybrid conference 2020 offers participants a choice to attend the conference in-person or virtually.

The two-day conference will be held at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sarawak Branch Samarahan Campus or through its official online platform on Nov 25 and 26.

According to its conference advisor cum UiTM Sarawak Rector Prof Datuk Dr Jamil Hamali, this is the first hybrid conference that provides both virtual and physical platforms in Malaysia.

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg is expected to officiate at the conference’s opening ceremony on Nov 25.

The main objective of this conference is to provide a platform for local and international participants from both academia and industries to present their authoritative knowledge and the most up-to-date research findings that are related to Covid-19.

“It will discuss recent innovation in science and technology developments in embracing the challenges presented by the pandemic.
