KUCHING: i-CATS University College won the prestigious “Best Choice – Education: Technical Skills Excellence” award at the 2023 BrandLaureate SMEs BestBrands.
This recognition validates the institution’s significant contributions to the development of global talent.
During the awards ceremony in Kuala Lumpur on June 15 , Hallman Sabri, the Executive Director of Sarawak Skills Group of Learning Institutions (Sarawak Skills) and Managing Director of PPKS Ilmu Sdn Bhd, received the award.
The award was presented by Rizal Nainy, CEO of SME Corp. Malaysia and witnessed by Dr. KKJohan, World President of the BrandLaureate, and Farouq Sahibjahn, General Manager of BrandLaureate.
“It is indeed an honour for i-CATS UC to receive this prestigious award from The World Brands Foundation(TWBF), the world’s only branding foundation dedicated to developing brands in a myriad of business backdrops,” said Hallman.

He thanked Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Tun Openg, who is Chancellor of i-CATS UC saying the award is an eloquent testimony to his contribution as the Chancellor and ongoing role as the architect of Sarawak’s economic and social development.
