KUCHING: Pakatan Harapan (PH) would have delivered its promises to Sarawak if it had been sincere after it won the last general election.
Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) publicity and media relations chairman Datuk Idris Buang said PH did not fulfill what they promised during their 22-month rule.
“If Chong Chieng Jen (Democratic Action Party or DAP) and PH had been sincere to Sarawak, Rhys would have fulfilled their pledges in their ‘deal’.
“The ‘deal’ was just a political stunt, a gimmick which they fabricated just to look fancy before the general election.
“The real situation was that when PH and Chong were in power, they forgot about all these (to deliver what had been promised),” he said in a statement today (Nov 14).
Idris, who is also the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) publicity chief, said Sarawak instead got bullied in a number of ways, particularly with so many development projects being terminated.
“We in GPS knew all along that they (PH) were insincere as they were motivated by their political motives,” he said.
