If trees could speak
What would they say?
If trees could speak
How would they pray?
If trees could cry
Will they be shy?
Yes, trees do cry
And that’s not a lie
And trees do speak
In the winds they squeak
We have to try
With them to cry
But trees are shy
To cry out in pain
When we in sly
Cut them down with the chain
So hear you the pain
In silence proclaim
And put away the chain
For trees, we acclaim!
