KUCHING: The Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) is seeking public assistance to locate family members or close relatives of a patient who is still in the hospital’s gynaecology ward.
Lisa Alim, 37, single, but without any identification, was brought to SGH after she was found suffering from abdominal pain and backache at the Open Air Market, Kuching.
Lisa claimed she was from Kampung Pasir Ulu, Lundu but has been in Kuching since her teenage years after her mother’s death.
She also claimed she used to do various odd jobs, including working as a kitchen hand in the city. But the hospital has no information on her family members.
SGH is appealing to whoever knows Lisa to contact its officer Nor Asmawati Mohd Ali at 082-276793/276666 (extension 4375).
Meanwhile, Sibu Hospital is seeking also seeking public assistance to locate the family members of a patient who has no identification papers on him but speaks only Chinese.
He was found lying in an area in Sungai Merah on April 26 and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
So far, no one has come to visit him.
