KUCHING: Two females were arrested in two different locations for selling illegal 4D lottery at a commercial centre at Jalan Datuk Tawi, Padawan on Thursday.
Aged 18 and 22, the two suspects were arrested at about 2 pm on Wednesday. Cash seized from the first and younger suspect from Desa Wira amounted to RM489. Also seized from her were pieces of betting slips, a mobile phone
and some stationery items.
From the second suspect who was from Debak and working at a phone shop, the seized cash was RM150. Other stationery items were also seized.
Both were detained for further questioning.
