KUCHING: Four undocumented foreigners were caught by the General Operations Force (GOF) for entering Sarawak illegally yesterday (Feb 12).
A GOF spokesperson revealed that the incident happened around 9.15am in Bau when a team from the Padang Pan post was carrying out patrols in an oil palm plantation field.
The patrol team came across four Indonesian men and inspected them.
The men failed to produce any valid travel documents, thereby committing offences under Section 6(1) of the Immigration Act 1959 (Act 155) and the Infectious Diseases Prevention and Control Act 1988 (Act 342).
All of them were later ordered to return to their country of origin via the Serikin army post.
