MUKAH: The sellers of the imported food items are now stationed at the dry section of the wet market, here. All this while, they used to be allocated with the local jungle produce area at the Pasar Tamu Mukah which is located about 50 metres away.

The affected petty traders are those selling anchovy with the new location in front of the ‘umai’ making area, with fruits and other imported items in the interior part of the market. It is learnt that at the initial stage some of those involved declined to move but gave in to the order of local authority, Dalat/Mukah District Council.
