KUCHING: International Trade and Industry, Industrial Terminal, and Entrepreneur Development Assistant Minister Datuk Mohd Naroden Majais called on more Sarawak entrepreneurs to improve the quality of their local franchise products in order to compete internationally.
He said this in his opening remarks at the Sarawak Bizfrancais Programme 2019 at Riverside Majestic Hotel here, yesterday.
Organised by the Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PNS) in collaboration with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, Industrial Terminal,
and Entrepreneur Development and Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), the event aims to help entrepreneurs and potential
entrepreneurs to find opportunities to venture into business, especially franchises.
Naroden called on local franchisees and the general public who are keen to venture into the franchise business to take advantage of the opportunities provided.
The Sarawak Bizfrancais Programme 2019 is being held in six locations in the country. Kuching is the fourth location. It was previously held in Penang, Sabah, and Kedah and will be held in Johor and Terengganu later this year.
