KUCHING: Over RM20 million in allocation has been spent for the Julau Parliamentary constituency since 2018 until 2022.

In a Facebook post, Julau incumbent Datuk Larry Sng has posted his ‘report-card’ which the funding showed it has been used for the various development in his constituency.

The ‘report card’ showed the allocated funds used to build projects for development towards infrastructures on transport as well as education, welfare and community well-being.

“However, this does not include the other allocations such as improvement of internet connectivities (WiFi) in the 47 areas under the National Digital Network (Jendela) and proposed construction of a fire station, ATM and petrol station,” he said.

Sng also indicated that he will stand in the coming general election.

“Previously, I contested as an Independent candidate and then after that I was able to join the federal government.

“This time, I will contest again, and when I win, I will join the new stable government”, he said in his Facebook post.
