KUCHING: The inaugural Darul Hana Carnival at the Darul Hana Mosque here will be held from April 13-15.

With several exciting activities and programmes planned, Rural Electricity Assistant Minister Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi hoped that the public would turn up in force to enliven the occasion.

“We welcome all to attend the carnival. There are a lot of activities during the three days such as sports, traditional hawker stalls, photography competition, traditional pastry making, weaving of keringkam, ‘mensia marek’ games, food truck and more.

“Also held will be side activities such as Family Run Darul Hana, Food Bank Initiative, RC Crawler 4×4 contest, car boot sale and science carnival,” he said today.

“On April 19, a ‘Ceramah Perdana’ will be held at 7pm presented by Ustaz Don Daniyal.”

The carnival is organised by Department of Land Custody and Development Authority (PELITA) together with Kampong Seberang Hilir NGOs and the committee members of Darul Hana Mosque.

It will be launched by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg on April 13 at 10am.

Visitors can also participate in a lucky draw with lots of prizes to be won. – UKAS
