KUCHING: Save Our Strays Kuching (SOS Kuching) has issued an appeal to an individual named Nelson, urging him to return the 70 cats he took without the owner’s permission.

The group lodged a police report on June 15 after receiving a complaint from the son of the cat owner.

According to the complainant, Nelson arrived at their residence in Jalan Chawan at 9.30pm and took around 100 cats that were being kept in a pet cage.

“Nelson’s intentions for taking the cats remain undisclosed, and attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful,” said the group at a press conference held at the Sungai Maong police station on Friday (June 16).

It has been alleged that the cats were released in Kampung Gersik and Kampung Boyan, but thus far, no trace of the cats has been found. Only 30 cats have been returned to the family as of early Friday.
