KUCHING: A 77-year-old man from Sambas, Indonesia was found dead by his son in a hotel room at Jalan Mendu at 2.05am yesterday.
This was confirmed by Kuching police chief ACP Awang Din Awang Gani.
He added the dead man’s son said his father had been receiving treatment at a private hospital due to a heart problem and had requested that there should not be any post mortem.
The son also did not want any police investigation as his father had died of a natural cause.
ACP Awang said the police had classified the case as sudden death.
