MUKAH: The district Information Department organised an ‘Info on Wheels’ programme at four longhouses near here on Wednesday and Thursday (Oct 7-8).
The programme, among others, was aimed at giving the latest information on current issues and get feedback from locals.
On the first day, the programme was held at Rh Simi and Rh Ranggi in Ulu Baoh near Dalat, while the following day, at Rh Sandri and Rh Richard Kilat in Sebakong near here.
The programmes featured anti-drugs and anti-human trafficking campaigns. Pamphlets on the new normal, dangers of drug abuse and MySejahtera app were also distributed.
At the events, Mukah District Information officer Syahrul Madian delivered talks related to drug (syabu) abuse, and on current issues such as Covid-19, Bantuan Prihatin Nasional 2.0 and population census.
The department planned to organise 10 similar programmes in selected villages and longhouses soon.
