KUCHING: Young people have been urged to innovate towards building a great civilisation.
In making the call Sarawak Federal Secretary Datuk Ahmad Nadzri Mohd Hassan said he was confident young Malaysians are capable of innovating and creating.
“Not just striving for themselves and their families, but also to build the nation,” he said while inaugurating at the Institute of Teacher Education Malaysia (IPGM) Academic Excellence Award (December 2023 Session Examination) at the the Batu Lintang Campus here, recently.
“I am confident that this is the time to prove that Malaysian children are capable of sparking ideas and catalysing vision.
“It is to build the civilisation of a nation whose identity is great, whose morals are noble, whose soul is strong and whose mind is world-class,” he said.
At the event, as many as 300 student teachers received their respective awards.
IPGM Director of Batu Lintang Campus Dr Abang Ismail Abang Julhi, Deputy Director Dr Zainal Abiddin Masleh, Head of Academic Excellence Department Dr Murugan Mini Ratamun and Head of Student Affairs Department Dr Emyzul Ismail were also present.
